Leica SL3-P
Announced in June 2026 alongside the Summilux-SL 50mm f/1.4 ASPH and APO-Macro-Elmarit-SL 100mm f/2.8, the SL3-P slots between the 60MP SL3 and the 24MP SL3-S. Its 44-megapixel BSI full-frame sensor pairs with a new hybrid autofocus system — phase detection, depth mapping, and contrast detection working together — and delivers up to 40 frames per second and 8.1K open-gate video at 30p.
For newcomers: the "P" line in modern Leica naming usually signals a photographer-focused refinement of an existing body. The SL3-P is the do-everything SL: more resolution than the SL3-S for landscape and studio work, faster shooting and video than the base SL3.
