1990 年徕卡造出一支带两枚非球面镜片的 35mm f/1.4——每个非球面都靠人工研磨抛光，工艺慢到近乎无法量产。最终只产出约 2000 支，1994 年被只需一枚模压非球面的重设计取代。社区称它"AA"或"双非"。存世稀少加上 pre-ASPH 味道与非球面控制的结合，让它的价格常年五位数（美元），与钢嘴、Noctilux 50/1.2 同列圣杯榜。
