1990 年徠卡造出一支帶兩枚非球面鏡片的 35mm f/1.4——每個非球面都靠人工研磨拋光，工藝慢到近乎無法量產。最終只產出約 2000 支，1994 年被只需一枚模壓非球面的重設計取代。社群稱它「AA」或「雙非」。存世稀少加上 pre-ASPH 味道與非球面控制的結合，讓它的價格常年五位數（美元），與鋼嘴、Noctilux 50/1.2 同列聖杯榜。
