Summicron 50mm f/2 'Dual-Range'

Produced between 1956 and 1968, the Summicron 50mm f/2 Dual-Range represents Leica's peak mechanical build quality. It features a dual-cam focusing helical: normal range down to 1 meter, and with the detachable optical "eyes" attached, a close-up range down to 48 centimeters with automatic parallax correction. Machined from solid solid brass with surgical precision, its resolving power and micro-contrast remain legendary to this day.
